Supporting Australian factories, warehouses and commercial facilities with tailored solar and battery storage solutions. Raylin Energy is the EPC general contractor for commercial projects 200 kWh–10 MWh — we sign the project contract and stay your single accountable party for equipment, design, commissioning oversight and long-term operation.
NSW, VIC or QLD. 200 kWh to 10 MWh. Raylin signs the EPC general contract — one accountable party for equipment, design, construction and after-sales.
Approved installers, retailers, EPCs and integrators. Apply for an account, get real pricing, dispatch from one of six warehouses.
Real savings depend on your tariff, load profile and operating hours. We will not give you a percentage figure before we have seen a recent bill. A free assessment starts with that.
On most Australian commercial tariffs, the peak demand charge is the single largest line item. A battery discharged during your highest-demand window caps the grid-drawn peak. Largest effect on sites with a single shift or a recurring process peak — cold storage, packaging line, charger cluster.
On time-of-use tariffs, the difference between off-peak and peak rates is often 2–4×. A battery charged from the grid or your own solar during the cheap window and discharged during the peak window moves consumption to the cheapest hours.
We start with your most recent bill, identify the tariff structure, demand pattern and operating hours, then recommend a starting range. Industrial battery storage projects typically range from 200 kWh to 10 MWh; below that we still talk to you, but the assessment is more involved.
Battery storage pays back fastest where electricity is a significant operating cost and there is some flexibility in when that electricity is consumed. We see the strongest demand-charge cases in these industries across NSW, VIC and QLD.
Refrigeration, mixers, packaging lines. Long operating hours and demand charges make load shifting attractive.
24/7 refrigeration load. Backup power protects product and avoids costly restart cycles.
Shifts, motors, processes. Demand charges dominate the bill; load shifting and peak shaving both apply.
Material handling, charging, lighting. Battery + solar covers daytime loads; backup for racking / WMS.
Process heating, extruders, injection moulding. Energy intensity makes storage + solar highly relevant.
Crushing, kilns, batching. Heavy demand charges — even small peaks matter at scale.
The exact timeline depends on your site, network connection requirements and equipment availability. This is the typical shape of a 200 kWh–10 MWh project.
You complete the assessment form — about five minutes. Your latest electricity bill, site address, operating hours, and optional photo or one-line description of the site.
Charlene (our lead engineer, Sydney) reads your enquiry and replies from charlene@raylin-energy.com within one business day with a sizing range and any follow-up questions.
We analyse your tariff, demand profile, and operating hours. If a full assessment is not justified at this stage, we tell you — and explain what would change that.
After a short call, we provide a sizing recommendation, indicative pricing, published-programme incentive guidance, and a project timeline. All in writing so you can compare.
Once terms are agreed, we mobilise the equipment and our selected Australian construction subcontractor. Network connection approval is managed end-to-end (Ausgrid / Endeavour / Essential Energy in NSW, Citipower / United in VIC, Energex / Ergon in QLD). You deal with one contract — ours.
Commissioning, documentation, and handover. We do not employ in-house Australian installation crews — site work is done by accredited local partners under your project.
These are not product features — they are two external arrangements we have set up around the project, so customers do not have to find them separately.
Where an NSW PDRS BESS5 certificate applies to your project, EcoVantage is the accredited certificate provider on our side. They handle product pre-eligibility review, evidence assembly, audit and certificate processing. We prepare and coordinate the technical evidence on your behalf; EcoVantage makes the submission under their accreditation.
Official policy reference. The Peak Shifting (BESS5) category is published on the NSW Energy Savings Scheme site: Peak Shifting (BESS5) · PDRS Rule and BESS5 requirements. The scheme site is the source of record.
For commercial customers who want to finance the project rather than pay upfront, we have an arrangement with Westpac through which we refer eligible customers directly to the bank. Westpac assesses each customer on its own terms — the project, the customer, the cash-flow case, the security position. Finance is at the bank's discretion; approval is not guaranteed, and we do not represent otherwise.
This is a referral arrangement, not a co-marketed finance product. If a customer's situation does not suit the Westpac pathway, we can still proceed on direct purchase or on the customer's own finance.
